yesterday night
an ex-colleague/classmate invited me to her place for her farewell dinner. (shes going to the states to pursue her ph.d) thankfully he was there as well or i'd have felt so out of place. haha. it didnt turn out so bad afterall, she demo-ed some of her pole dance moves! to top it off, it was really great seeing him again :)
left at 10-ish and headed to a gay club wif a fren. my 1st time going to such a place.. t'is quite an eye-opening experience. surprisingly, nothing that i saw seemed too outrageous or shocking to swallow - the context normalised images dat i'd have taken a second look at if it were somewhere else out in the public. power of the context does wonders.
